Kim is an avid outdoor enthusiast and graduate of the Southern Oregon University Masters of Education program. Kim's passion is to connect children with the outdoors and community based learning opportunities that are relevant and inspiring.
Kim is very excited to combine her love of teaching with the magic that is Coyote Trails. Her current Oregon teaching license carries a Special Education endorsement that credentials her to modify content to meet the needs of students with a wide variety of learning styles and intelligence potentials. Kim has traveled around the world, lived in Mexico, and speaks conversational Spanish. As a staff photographer for Outward Bound Wilderness, Kim enjoyed many exciting outdoor experiences including rock climbing, rafting, and mountaineering. She has played and coached several sports. Kim regularly enjoys: trail running, mountain biking, fishing, sailing, and backpacking.
