What bird is that? Whose tracks are these? Why did this plant grow here? There is a wide world of discovery waiting to be explored.....

Your child will be outdoors most of their time with us.  Please have them dressed in appropriate clothes for the weather (snow, rain, cold/heat, etc.).  They will also need a backpack or shoulder bag with snacks and water bottle.

*Qualified Coyote Trails Instructors offer to broaden your child's educational experience and knowledge of place through Coyote Teaching, Mentoring and Experiential Learning. Naturalist subject areas include:

- Local Plant and Wildlife Studies

- Tracking 

- Outdoor Survival Skills

- Bear Creek Watershed Ecology

- Awareness building through Games, Crafts, Storytelling and Art!!

* Instructor Michele Pavilionis holds a degree in Early Childhood Development with emphasis on Outdoor Adventure Leadership and Native American Studies.

Where: Jefferson Nature Center - Medford, Oregon

Who: Ages: 4-10

Cost: $30 per child pre-registered per day; drop-ins $36 per child not registered per day

When: Fridays 1pm - 4pm: November 4 - December 16 ( extended hours available)

Plan to arrive early for Sign-In and On-Site check in.
