FAMILY TRACKING AND AWARENESS ADVENTURE
Offered to ages 7-70+
Pre-requisite: Family Fox Trail or (similar class from another school)
This is a week long course for families where we venture deeper into animal tracking and nature observation and expand upon the skills only introduced upon the Fox Trail. This will include; animal track ID and sign, track dynamics, trail systems, gait patterns, scat analysis, plaster casting, use of a tracking box, how to age tracks and much more. These skills will be learned through hands on activities, games, and through wandering adventures over the landscape. We will also be going into basic search and rescue techniques including how to lost-proof yourself and your children, all done with a fun and light-hearted approach. Youth aged 10 -12 who have met the pre-requisite may attend without a parent or guardian.
